Information

The Day by Day with Parkinson’s diary is  specifically designed to provide people with Parkinson’s and their carers a ‘one-stop shop’ record book where one is able to gain up-to-date information about the disease.

Each daily page aims to:

  • Make it easier for the PD sufferer to record their medications;
  • Rate how they are feeling at different phases of the day;
  • Suggest a fine or gross motor exercise to perform for a short time each day;
  • Provide inspiration and knowledge to people with Parkinson’s and their support team.

With over 80 000 people in Australia diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, this diary is a win-win scenario for all involved –

  • It will provide a useful resource for People with Parkinson’s that can be updated annually;
  • It will generate funds to go towards Parkinson's Disease research at the University of Queensland’s Centre for Clinical Research.

We hope that you find this diary to be a useful tool, that can help you to ‘get to know’ your own Parkinson’s and ways to make each day a little bit easier in its own small way.

"It has turned out to be invaluable this year as my Dad has had four hospital admissions and to be able to lift his Diary and take it with us to hospital with all the information we need inside has been amazing." Fiona - United Kingdom

"My husband chairs a Parkinson's group and all our members thought it was a great idea and are eagerly awaiting the next edition!" Sarah - Gold Coast

"As a recently diagnosed person with PD, a friend gave me the diary. To be honest - I got more information out of the diary than from my doctors." Roger - Ballarat
